I have never seen the movie before so can't judge what it was like in other releases. In the DVD I bought, I had widescreen, dialog in English and Japanese and two disks. Everyone should be able to view Hayao Miyazaki animation. This film is no exception. You must see these films more than once. Put the setup in Japanese and English subtitles to get a better effect. Watch the films once for the story and then for the background animation. Superb!!!!

I can't wait for Studio Ghibli's next film to come to the U.S.. It is currently showing in Japan.

"Are you okay?!"

This review is going to be a little biased because I first saw this movie during my junior high days in the mid 1990s. At the time, fighting games were the rage from Street Fighter to Mortal Kombat. Enter the world of Fatal Fury. Fatal Fury one was actually released before Street Fighter II, and often gets overshadowed by the Ken and Ryu franchise.
