| This was put out in mid-October 2008. I along with at least a few others thought it was the same live concert footage that used to be in VHS, but, now on a DVD. Amazon has comments attached to it from the VHS version which was the live concert (plus some interviews) and that is why it still has a high star rating. I am planning to return this as DVD 2 and DVD 3 are overly redundant in content as well. |

| I was just in kindergarten when the New Kids were big, now here I am of legal drinking age and I still pop in this video every once and awhile! It's funny to watch and still entertaining 16 years later. Brings back lots of memories! |

| This was my intro to the band as a young teen in the 80's. It's a wonderful film and documentary, that really gives a full story of the band from beginning to end. Really get a glimpse into the personalities and the music's creative process. Good clips of interviews, and music performances/videos. Great choice of songs throughout, not just the hits (such as Tomorrow Never Knows, Why don't we do it in the road, Love you too, Day in the Life), even though they are usually shortened snippets. | Your level of enjoyment will probably depend on how much you appreciate Zappa and his particular brand of [...]. As a movie musical, it seems at times to be a parody of the genre while simultaneously stretching the form well beyond its normal parameters. Yes, On the Turning Away done live on this album is without question the summit of great lead guitar work. Gilmour bleeds his Strat and blends it with power chords that weaken the knees. Best lead guitar song ever recorded. Stack it against any, and I mean any, guitar solo. There seems to be a "how fast can he play?" or "how complicated can he get?" mentality in music in the past decades.
