VHS : AC/DC - Let There Be Rock
This was put out in mid-October 2008. I along with at least a few others thought it was the same live concert footage that used to be in VHS, but, now on a DVD. Amazon has comments attached to it from the VHS version which was the live concert (plus some interviews) and that is why it still has a high star rating. I am planning to return this as DVD 2 and DVD 3 are overly redundant in content as well.

VHS : 200 Motels
Your level of enjoyment will probably depend on how much you appreciate Zappa and his particular brand of [...]. As a movie musical, it seems at times to be a parody of the genre while simultaneously stretching the form well beyond its normal parameters. There are a few genuinely hilarious laugh-out-loud moments, and I love the incidental orchestral music that accompanies and perfectly complements some of the scenes, but I was no fan of the Flo & Eddie era Mothers, so most of the band stuff does nothing ... VHS : Uncensored: Motley Crue
This video was issued in 1986, right after their theatre of pain album was put out, and let me tell you, it's crue in their prime. Vince, Nikki, Tommy, and Mick are 80's metal life to the extreme, driving Coravettes, riding in limo's with spa's, and of course Girls Girls Girls.
The video tells a little of how they met, shows their old stomping ground, and has glipses at their first "Videos" which were home-made. The major label videos they do have are Live Wire, Looks that Kill, Too young to fall in love, Smoking ... Read More:

VHS : Live Facelift

The only things wrong with this video is that it's too short with only 5 concert tracks plus 3 music videos that can also be found on the MusicBank DVD. It's also hard to find, I was unable to get it on Amazon but managed to get hold of a copy and transfer it to DVD. The band never sounded better or tighter than they did here with Layne Staley's vocals being superb on every track, especially 'LoveHateLove' and 'Bleed The Freak'
Highly recommended not just to AIC fans but to any fans of hard rock. This really ... Read More:

VHS : Led Zeppelin - The Song Remains the Same
I got to see this on the big screen as part of the DVD promotion. If you want to see why LZ was a great live band, get the self titled DVD.

For years, the only live Zeppelin you could get were either bootlegs or this movie, but since Page opened the vault, you've had the "BBC Sessions" and "How The West Was Won" (also the beginning of the "Houses of the Holy" tour, TSRTS was the end of the tour), both of which decimated the original soundtrack. Until the rerelease. So do get the soundtrack CD even though you might think owning ... Read More:

VHS : Marilyn Manson - God Is in the T.V.
I bought this VHS back in 2002 when VHS was still selling well. I was really impressed with my purchase. If you want every Manson Video from Portrait of American Family to Mechanical Animals then get this in any form you can. It is a shame this is out of print and MM's record company has neglected to release this on DVD and not make it limited edition with a Greatest Hits CD. I tried finding the CD and it is also out of print. My VHS hasn't been played much as it is. It seems like VHS has been killed off in the industry as a standard and alterative ... Read More:

VHS : Nona Tapes
'The Nona Tapes' is a real treasure for any AIC fan. When I first watched 'The Nona Tapes', I laughed until I cryed and I still do everytime I watch it. This is a MUST for any true AIC fan. If seeing Jerry dressed in drag (and doing a darn good impression) wasnt enough, you get to see Sean dressed as a clown and hear Mike talk about his business in Hot Dogs while he get's a "make-over". But the real highlight of this short film is getting to see Layne healthy and content. You also get to see Laynes 'funnier side' which is a real treat to me. 'The Nona Tapes' ... Read More:

VHS : Pink Floyd - Pulse
A prime example of what Pink Floyd could do in concert. I have seen Floyd in concert many times, and this DVD captures the very essence of their performance. Beautifully mastered with terrific audio, this video is a must for Pink Floyd fans of all ages!

VHS : Pink Floyd - The Wall
Of all the efforts put in bt Pink Floyd, this is the one essential Roger Waters compilation. This product is a journey into madness. It's about the alienation he feels between the band and the fans.

VHS : Warrant: Live - Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich
This was Warrant at the top of their game...

This tape brought back many memories of the 'glam metal' days of the 80's in SoCal. While I think the show was too short and was filled with a lol of non-musical nonsense, the feeling was there. Brought back many great memories of walking up and down the Sunset Strip hitting the clubs and seeing a lot of great 'hair' bands singing about having nothing but a good time. That's what it was all about back then: partying, having a great time with your friends and not worrying about anything else except the ... Read More:
