| I loved this movie/mini series. I've watched it time and again. I've always wondered about the soundtrack..I just CANNOT find it anywhere. (There is a link on amazon music..waiting for the seller to respond if what he/she has is the real thing) If anyone knows where to get the soundtrack, pls do send me a mail.

| I watched this movie when I was about 5 years old. and to this day it still remains one of my favorite movies of all time. I am a die hard Michael Jackson fan and anybody whom is in love with Micahel as much as I am needs to buy this movie. He is truely a great entertainer and a brilliant performer/actor. | I am a dancer and ballet is my favorite type of dance. I have seen dozens of different Nutcrackers over the years, from the traditional to the avand garde. Nothing can compare with this version. Baryshnikov shines. And Kirkland is a most sensuous Clara/Marie. Their duet at the end replaced the traditional "sugarplum fairy" dance. But, what a duet! I never get tired of watching it. A true Christmas treasure. |

| I was just in kindergarten when the New Kids were big, now here I am of legal drinking age and I still pop in this video every once and awhile! It's funny to watch and still entertaining 16 years later. Brings back lots of memories! |

| 3 stars just because it's missing so much content. However, I did manage to get the entire series and burn it to a dvd so, that's at least a plus. But this VHS is missing a lot of content. Hopefully MTV releases an official DVD of The Maxx. Until then I've got a copy : ) |

| This, besides American Ballet Theatre's Nutcracker (done by Baryshnikov), is perhaps the truest Nutcracker in that it keeps to the original story by E.T.A. Hoffman. The character of Drosselmeier is dark, mysterious, strange. He struggles with his relationship to Clara and as she encounters the Nutcracker hanging on the tree, sends her a dark dream as a sort of punishment. | This version of the Nutcracker is completely faithful to Hoffman's original story, with a real storyline children can relate to. The set design, by Maurice Sendak, is incredible, and the dancing is enchanting for all ages. If you only watch one version of the Nutcracker, this is the version to watch. And please, somebody - this production needs to be put onto DVD! |
