| Overall well produced TV series and I watched intently with many emotions of passion, heartache, compassion, and joy for characters portrayed. The Stanwyk character was deplorable esp. with the line: on my mouth! YIKES!!! The aging process was well done for Cardinal Vittorio, Ralph, Grandma Fi, BUT Meggie looks more gorgeous every year, esp. the last scene, they tried to grey her hair, tho unevenly, during the same scene and nary a wrinkle....no biggie compared to her whisper yelling and flat dialogue, ... | I have loved this movie ever since I was a young kid. It is a classic. I watch it every Christmas season just to get me in the spirit. We rarely get snow in South Carolina, but it helps to remind me a bygone days. It's just a fun little movie with some classic actors and actresses that are gone to movie heaven...at least, I hope. |

| Io bought this mvie hopping it would be a good education tool. It was not. It does not follow the book and kids notice these kinds of things. If it is based on the book it should say so. |

| This used to be on television about a hundred times a year until somebody realized that it diminished its value. Now rarely on tv, this dvd is an entertaining, heart-warming story. It only takes a viewing of this movie spectacular to put me right in the mood for Christmas. James Stewart plays George Bailey who has led his entire life giving of himself to help others when a banking error by his uncle could end it all for poor George.

| I find it frustrating with the economy being so bad to pay $74.00 to $100.00 dollars for a dvd especially a popular classic like this. This movie is amazing and one of my favorites. I higly recommend this movie. as for columbia dvd going out of print fast is nerve wrecking because u get greedy creeps who yank up the price like gas.anyhow hopefully columbia will re-issue this,it is a popular and cherished classic.... |

| The price on this tape was great and the delivery was very timely. The tape box shows wear (as stated) but the tape is in excellent condition. I would certainly use this seller again without hesitation. |

| this is the best in the three part series. it follows the book almost to a "T" and the acting is splendid. if you have children who are yet too young to read, this is a great way to share the ANNE OF GREEN GABLES experience with them. |

| Great book. Written in sense of "Gone with the Wind." Good character development. Really saw the growth of Scarlet, from self-centered child to caring young woman. Always had the feeling, unlike the film, that it was Scarlet and Rhett. Set in Irish history background. |
