| This movie was made in the days before film-makers realized that people were sophisticated enough to recognize corn when they saw it. Horz Bucholz's impetuous kid act was just total corn. Talk about bad acting. Robert Vaughn deliberately affects some kind of bizarre weakling voice quality.

| I'm really surprised this isn't on DVD and more accessible to the public. Gregory Peck is first rate in his role as Ringo, the aging gun-fighter who's taking a hard look at life and wanting to change his ways. And Millard Mitchell was impressive in his supporting role. I loved the foreshadowing all through the picture and I was left stunned by the ending. Wasn't expecting that from a 1950's movie. | B-A-R-B-A-R-O-S-A!!!!!!! The best, by far of the Willie Westerns. Both lead performances (Nelson & Busey) are what you would expect from each actor, yet at the same time over the top and flawless. A must have for any western fan even though it is pan-scan 4:3. Let us hope that we soon get a proper widescreen version, Please!

| I have always,always remember the wonderful actor Claude Akins..when Randolph Scott would talk to him....Akins repiled..."HELLO!".It's all in his justers in the way he says it.It's a very well done western.Hopefully when it comes out...it will be in WIDESCREEN.I have seen it on TMC..in that format.The TALL "T" is another great SCOTT & RICHARD BOONE western classic. |
