Unbelievebly great movie. One of the best movie I have ever seen. Done with great actors. It is well done and leave aside the bloody scenes of the war which we do not need to see and appreciate not seeing. The movie has been very appreciated by the family because of the excellent performance of the actors and the very good script.

I am thoroughly happy with the purchase of Winds of War and War & Rememberance. These are fantastic movies. It brings you into the war and makes you part of it. The stories were linked together so you really needed to have both of these great movies. Buying from Amazon has been the best for me and I will continue to make purchases with them. AL

VHS : Man From U.N.C.L.E. - Vol. 4, The Galatea Affair/The Come With Me to the Casbah Affair
The movie-length episodes on this one are great, so much so I had one imported to my house in England (cause you can't get U.N.C.L.E stuff over here). Watch out though, one of the episodes was turned into a TV movie and is often shown on TNT...

VHS : The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Volume 11: The Hot Number Affair / The Suburbia Affair (UNCLE)
There are 2 Episodes on this tape and one has Sonny & Cher. It is called "The Hot Number Affair" Episode and truly wonderful:

It shows Cher true-to-life, showing her initial interest in designing, right when her career in music had just begun to take off. And Sonny, WAY against character, is playing a tailor who is NOT married to her, but he is able to bank his jealousy.

In a way that makes for quite an interesting and comedic plot, with physics secrets, relating to Cold War with Russia ... Read More:

VHS : The Avengers '65: Set 1
The Avengers was one of the hippest shows of its day, and manages to stand the test of time pretty well. It achieved its maximum popularity in 1965-66, when streamlined for exportation to America, which was when Diana Rigg was hired to replace the departing Honor Blackman. Prior, The Avengers was essentially a weekly live crime melodrama a la Agatha Christie, interspersed with some occasional spy hijinks. Once Rigg was brought aboard, the show's budget increased, it was transferred to film with more location shooting, ... Read More:

VHS : The Best of Mission: Impossible Vol.12
These two episodes are definitely the lesser entries of M:I's merely average seventh season. Instead of fun episodes like "Two Thousand" and "Break!" Paramount instead chose one average and one dismal episode -- "Puppet" has a strong cast (including villain Roddy McDowall, and backup scum Val Avery and John Larch) but a fairly slow plot and little visual style or gadgetry. "The Pendulum" only has some nice exteriors and sets to recommend it (Dean Stockwell's performance is particularly beneath his talent). Nevertheless, this is probably ... Read More:
