| In the original "Batman" & "Batman Returns," the storylines (or what shreds there were) were overwhelmed by the comic-book schtick left over from the wonderful 1960's "Batman" series. The schtick was fine for the series, but for the films...AUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. GOOD GRIEF! | DO NOT get this for superlative acting or cinematic brilliance. It's just SO silly that it is priceless and highly enjoyable. The villains are a bit weak especially the Joker, but the Dynamic Duo are as camp and corny as ever. Could have been a little bit shorter. Otherwise classic silly entertainment - the shark and bomb scenes are so ridiculous they have to be seen to be believed. Hilarious! |

| This was a decent prison film that hooked the viewer & kept you interested in the plot. The characters were fun to watch & interesting. It appealed to the viewer on more of a psychological level. Overall, not a bad way to spend a couple of hours. Not over-the-top like many of today's prison films which heavily rely on blood & gore. | This movie is sweet. Do not expect this movie to be a cinematic classic, it is fun, just because that is what it was made for. Entertaining and the extra features on the HD disc are cool too.
