| I've ridiculed many a Roger Corman film in my time, but I have nothing but love for his 1975 B-movie triumph Death Race 2000 (although, to be fair, most of the credit should go to director Paul Bartel). In this brilliant black comedy satire, Corman gives us what we want - fast cars, hot naked gals, and lots of glorified violence, not to mention brilliant performances by David Carradine and a pre-Rambo Sylvester Stallone - and all with a budget of only 300 grand.

| I saw this black & white movie Canterville Ghost(1944) years ago. The cowardly ghost was funny. I was excited to find it on Amazon. The ghost tries to scare the guest instead they scare the cowardly ghost. Once again I enjoyed watching it but it wasn't as funny as I remembered. I also purchased the newer version in color of Canterville Ghost(1986)staring John Gielgud, Ted Wass, Andrea Marcovicci, and Alyssa Milano. | My family has recently become huge fans of the X-files TV show (thanks to reruns on the Sci Fi channel), so we were excited to see that they had actually released a movie back in the late 90's. I read several of the bad reviews that this movie received, but we really liked it when we first watched it. | Well, I have to kick myself in the butt.. The Stepfather series is perhaps the best slasher series since the original psycho. Although pt 2 and 3 had been released on dvd, I hesitated on purchaseing them due to hoping the 1st movie would be released, which it never has. Now that I have waited, it looks like pt 2 and 3 are soon to be no longer avaliable on dvd... Does this mean that there will be a boxed set released with pt 1, 2, and 3 together? God I hope so. | When Carly scares her little brother with the mask in the hallway, in the backround there is a ghost sticker on the wall, I have that same thing. That was a weird connection between I do kind of like the movie. Not creepy, I don't find any goosebumps movie creepy, if you do, you must be a total douche! | I thought this movie was really good. I liked Darth Maul, I liked the pod race. The thing I didn't like was that they stretched the movie a bit too long. But, just like all SW movies, it was good to say the least. |

| I love this movie! Jaws has it all, sure it's scary, but it is very funny, sympathetic, exciting too.
It also takes place on and in real water in a real ocean. Something sorely missing in todays aquatic films. The charecters are memorable, and developed and perfectly cast. If Jaws were made today,Denise Richards would be Hooper, George Clooney would be Brody, and Bruce Willis would be Quint! The shark would be CGI and all of its magic would be lost. Jaws is the real deal. |
