| It is criminal that the DVDs for Hogan's Heroes have not been produced...perhaps more criminal than the untimely slaughter of Crane himself. There is a plethora of assorted crap and garbage, passing for entertainment, that has been lasered onto DVD. However, the all-time gem remains unsung in the obscurity bin. Brutal. |

| It's not often you get to own television history of what was to become a Star Trek phenom. Reading the back of the box "Airdate:Never shown on TV!" in red ink is something! Many people make comparisons between Pike and Kirk. Everyone says it's the acting of William Shatner vs. Jeffrey Hunter with Hunter's Pike seeming to think too much vs. Shatner's Kirk being more energetic. | I wanted to get this DVD cause I liked the show but when I noticed that the pilot by itself is more than the whole Season 1 I said forget it. Some idiots on here are asking $41 for it new that is so crazy high I'm not even gonna comment on it. I want to get just this episode for myself but its gonna have to come WAY down in price. Under $10 at least. |
