When I contacted amazon, I was told I had to wait even longer to file a claim. The email even implied that I was somehow at fault because I didn't look at her reviews. | I was dragged to this movie as a young boy. What young man wants to see a movie with a singing prince and a love story? It didn't take long for me to enjoy the story of male bonding by singing and drinking in the beer garden soon to be followed by a sword fight.

| Two Girls and a Sailor is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon and features a great cast. | We showed this movie at the theatre I worked at when it first came out. Except for the Martian-fearing sailor, overall I thought it was funny (I just don't care for silly comedy - hence only 4 stars). I am a particular fan of the Hutton/Prentiss comedy pair-up. |

| This is a great musical film with the superb singing of Jane Powell, plus Carmen Miranda, Cugat,and the beautiful youthful Elizabeth Taylor.
The plot is funny and the story really enjoyable for all the family. This is what the great musicals were all about. |

| Just watched on TMC while ill. Expected romantic soap opera and to turn it off. Instead was rewarded with great music: Tommy Dorsey AND opera and more, as well as fabulous Technicolor 40's fashion, cars, interiors, and kitsch, not to mention the stupendous Esther Williams' diving and pool scenes. Also, great scenic outdoor shots of hiking in the high Rockies. Actually, came on web to find out where it was shot, and left this review. Better than expected.
