VHS : Gilda Live
This is one of my favourite "LIVE" recorded movies. I also have selected bits from this show on CD "Gilda Radner: Live From New York". VHS has all of everyones favourite characters from SNL's early days, and time fillers of Father Guido Sarducci, that were thrown in while Gilda and the crew were preparing for the next few scenes. Most of these fillers dont really even make sense. All the rest of the VHS is absolutely hilarious, the songs are catchy, characters still the same as ever in new situations, ... Read More:

VHS : Fortune, The
The Fortune was one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. The acting is superb and it just gets crazier and still somehow plausible as it goes along. Why the critics didn't like it is too bad, but then they're usually wrong anyway. Ignore the critics, watch this wonderful film and enjoy the subtleties and humanity of real writing and acting and directing. Sadly, there are very few films this well made -and none that I can think of today.

Catch-22 DVD

Catch-22 is based on Joseph Heller's novel about an American air base in the Mediterranean during World War II. Again, if you are a reader IMHO the book Joseph Heller's Catch-22 (Barron's Book Notes) is better, the movie quicker, Starring Alan Arkin and Martin Balsam.

Recommended for fans of Alan Arkin and Martin Balsam.

VHS : Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?
For fans of old Hollywood, you'll love this movie!
Burton and Taylor are just about at their best here.
The constant jab and poke that these two go for is amazing, both looking the vocabular knock out punch!
It remans one of my all time fav movies to watch.
I encourage everyone who has the slightest interest in how
great the old studios made movies to watch this film!

VHS : Primary Colors
John Travolta and Emma Thompson were superb in "Primary Colors."I especially love Kathy Bates part.
Along with most of the reviewers,I would like to know if most of the movie is fact or fiction.
If its true,Man,what an adventure it was for Bill Clinton's team to get him in the White House.
If you love politics like I do,you will really enjoy this film.

VHS : Postcards From the Edge
Streep and Maclaine are outstandingly hilarious as mother and daughter. Both these actresses also show off their vocal talents and Streep is obviously talented enough to have succeeded entirely on her singing.

Streep and Nicolson did a great job teaming up for this movie. Loved the romance and heartache that so many people experience these days in this story. Very entertaining and is a tear jerker.
