| The stories are timeless and still relevant, even though one takes place in 1954, one in 1974, and the last in 2000. It is a similar format to "If These Walls Could Talk 2" in which there are three stories from three different generations. The 1954 sequence hits home, in spite of a "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy within the armed services, because even now, a military career can still be irreparably damaged if a soldier or officer is outed. | I originally watched this as a series years ago on ABC if i recall correctly. And I love it now just as I loved it then. Oprah Winfrey, Lonette McKey, Cicely Tyson, Robin Givens, Jackee', Lynn Whitfield, they all were superb! A great add to your collection if you like movies like dramas such as this that has a good plot and ending... |

| The female lead is interesting and sexy, and I think many woman will identify with her smarts, loneliness, and sexual passions. The serial killer story line has tension and several twists, it keeps you guessing who the killer really is. Warning: this is soft porn-but ew la la, it is really luscious.

| The movie was a bit melodramatic but very effective in making it's point. As a woman who was happily married for 27 of 29 years and only discovered my "true" sexuality at almost 50yrs old, I can relate to the hesitancy of pursing this type of relationship. Based on my experience, I found it depicted a fairly realistic view of a female to female relationship. |
