VHS : Flim Flam Man
Fabulous acting and inspiring about points in life where people have to choose what sort of values they want to live by. It also shows the mass poverty suffered by the us in the past.

2.Hannie Caulder starring: Raquel Welch, Robert Culp, Ernest Borgnine, Christopher Lee, Jack Elam
directed by: Burt Kennedy
May 06, 1991
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

VHS : Hannie Caulder
The brothers (played by Strother Martin, Ernest Borgnine, Jack Elam)as mentioned in other reviews, are "slap stick" at times. Welch's make-up was too heavy for the time period, and her dress un-buttoned down her navel while she is cooking, was a bit much. With all that it is still a very good movie and Robert Culp's best acting. He could teach me to shoot a gun anytime!

One of the better Welch movies, I have this on VHS and have watched it over and over!

3.The Villain starring: Kirk Douglas, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Ann-Margret, Paul Lynde, Foster Brooks
directed by: Hal Needham
September 29, 1997
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

VHS : The Villain
This is a western/comedy as good as Blazing Saddles or Maverick. And oddly enough, it has Arnold in it?! But don't expect his favorite catch phrase "I'll be back". This is much older than Terminator.

4.Butch Cassidy & Sundance Kid starring: Paul Newman, Robert Redford, Katharine Ross, Strother Martin, Henry Jones
directed by: George Roy Hill
March 22, 1995
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

VHS : Butch Cassidy & Sundance Kid
The transfer of this film appears to be the same MPEG transfer as the one used for the DVD version. It DOES NOT appear to be a new 1080p 4k re-mastering of the film. This is not to say that it doesn't look much better in Blu-Ray than it does on DVD. But it is not, evidently, a brand new 1080p 4k transfer made expressly for Blu-Ray release. This can cause some problems, depending on your display system and settings. You may have to select a different input palette or profile on your display, or adjust your settings. ... Read More:

5.True Grit starring: John Wayne, Kim Darby, Glen Campbell, Jeremy Slate, Robert Duvall

True Grit (Special Collector's Edition)This is the movie John Wayne won an Oscar for his performance and well deserved it truely is! Excellent script, excellent directing and most of all, excellent acting. The movie was perfectly cast and all the actors delivered their best. The most beautiful locations added to the movie presentation. They have a featurette on this dvd about the location of the movie---and it is a real town. All I can say is the entire movie is so impressive and I would recommend this dvd as a must have ... Read More:

6.Pocket Money starring: Paul Newman, Lee Marvin, Strother Martin, Wayne Rogers, Hector Elizondo
directed by: Stuart Rosenberg
August 02, 1993
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

VHS : Pocket Money
Even diehard Paul Newman (or Lee Marvin) fans might have a hard time getting through this one. They play a couple of oafish cowboys trying to get a herd of horses from Mexico into Texas; neither has a clue what he's doing. A parody of the tough-guy western, Newman is the not-very-swift though good-hearted and determined schlemiel, while Marvin is the con-man who bungles everything. Newman is occasionally funny, but Marvin is merely surly. Stuart Rosenberg's direction is very loose, and often there seems to be no direction at all. ... Read More:

Paul Newman is at his best in this movie. Too bad that we have lost another magnificant actor.

Fantastic movie. Highest quality, old style entertainment. Movies aren't made like this anymore! I would deem it a must have if you enjoy entertainment that is wholesome and great viewing for anyone any age.

9.The End (1978) starring: Burt Reynolds, Dom De Luise, Sally Field, Janice Carroll, James Best
September 01, 1998
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

VHS : The End (1978)
I remember my parent's taking my brother, sister, and I as kids to see this movie. (A LONG time ago)
I found it hilarious as a child, and watched it several times as an adolescent on cable. I ordered it because I remember Dom DeLuise being SO GREAT as Sonny's best INSANE friend trying to help him kill himself. Throughout the years my family has kept phrases from this movie alive. Such as "Your right Sonny, it's not high enough!" Or we mimic Burt at the end of the movie bargaining with God. The closer he gets to shore the more he rescinds ... Read More:

10.Slap Shot (25th Anniversary Special Edition) starring: Paul Newman, Michael Ontkean, Strother Martin, Jennifer Warren, Lindsay Crouse
directed by: George Roy Hill
March 26, 2002
Average Rating: out of 5 stars
>>More Details
VHS : Slap Shot (25th Anniversary Special Edition)
Slap Shot is bottom-of-the-barrel minor league hockey. It's blue collar, living on the edge of desperation, rust belt culture. It's about a marginal business run for purposes irrelevant to sport. It's people miscast in life from hacks who see themselves as pros, to elitists who deign to play with the low-lifes. It's about people screwing up their relationships, about mis-communication and non-communication. It's about how people hurt each other in order to connect with one another. It's crude and irreverent. It's about the really screwy things ... Read More:
