| I like the movie, and the dvd set is fine, but I prefer to watch movies with the words and the mouth movements in sync. Amazon has sent me two of the two-disc special edition, and they're both out of sync. |

| When someone needs him. When an abusive hunter's Beagle escapes and takes refuge with Marty's family, the boy realizes he's the dog's only hope.
If only we can be what our dogs believe we are. That uncompromising love made a young boy a man. You see Marty slowly changing as he learns new skills and devotes his life to saving an animal that was counting on him. It's a great family story and one that even a cat lover could relate to. | Marlon Brando, who won an Oscar for this role, changed the face of acting in the mid 20th century.
He's brilliant, inspired, and completely magnificent. And who hasn't heard, "I coulda been a contender, I coulda been somebody, instead of a bum, which is what I am." This movie is a classic, a movie that should be in everyones collection. They just don't make them like Brando, anymore. |

| It's not as if Men of Respect is a poor tranposition of the play Macbeth; it's just a bad mob movie. I was hoping to find a Godfather meets Macbeth, but instead got a Carlito's Way meets Macbeth. There was a reason I had never heard of this movie until recently. I should have known from the lame title. |
