VHS : Fast Getaway
There are several car chases in this film, and they are
all great, considering it's a B movie!

The dialogue gets lame in between all the action. Count the # of times Corey says " Pop " in this film....could be a good drinking game?

Cory Haim brings alot of energy to this film, but he appears
to be high on coke! It's a manic, high strung performance.

He was made to be in B films, with his good looks and limited
range. The high points are a great ... Read More:

My favorite Zombie movie. The best way to see this is unrated and uncut. Not for the faint at heart or those easily grossed out. Lots of blood, and exposed intestines. Ken Foree was great in this. He is one of 4 survivors trapped in a mall with zombies. They fly to the mall after a drug bust in an apartment where zombies are on the loose. They escape via chopper to a mall. The mall is filled with zombies. Tom Savini leads a gang of bikers who want the mall for themselves and go after Ken & co. (all GREAT performances) ... Read More:

Bottom line .. I found watching this a second time cured my aches from the first attempt. Just so you know, I grew up in church and have a strong faith which will never die. I really like and support Cameron for his faith journey and getting Lou Gosset Jr. involved was a coup. Besides, I"m a fan of the books so I'm certainly a reasonable source for constructive criticism.

The first time watching the movie it seemed this was more of a sermon and testimony then an action/drama/thriller with an underlying testimony ... Read More:

Due to lack of advertising, I didn't see this movie til a few years after its release when a good friend of mine bought it for me and I'm very glad he did. This movie is up there with my top favorite movies. Buy this movie, you won't be disappointed...and if you are, I doubt it'll take you long to find a new owner for your Boondock Saints.

VHS : Robin Hood - Men in Tights
The Robin Hood legend with juvenile jokes. I actually did laugh a couple of times, but not nearly as much as I expected to. It seemed like they were making it up as they went.

VHS : Dead Again
Kenneth Branagh's film Dead Again is a superbly crafted thriller that cleverly combines film noir, supernatural suspense, melodrama, and romance. Branagh (Henry V) pulls double duty, both directing and starring in this stylish update of the mystery genre. The film stars Branagh and his wife Emma Thompson in dual-roles, as well as featuring an impressive supporting cast including Andy Garcia, Derek Jacobi, Hanna Schygulla, Wayne Knight, and Robin Williams.
The film utilizes all of the trappings of a Hitchcock picture, while remaining completely ... Read More:

VHS : Doctor Faustus
I've always been a fan of Richard Burton. He was a powerful actor and a fascinating personality. His voice elevates whatever he speaks, whether it's Hamlet or a guest shot on "The Fall Guy." He was a man conflicted about everything in his life, battling the bottle and then everything else with the bottle. He went from a poor Welsh upbringing to starring in the biggest movie ever made (CLEOPATRA) and in love with the glamorous star in the world (Elizabeth Taylor).

So you would think that a man who appears to have made a Faustian bargain ... Read More:

I am not one who enjoys an action film. I did find myself drawn to this one though. It has charm and wonderful actors. There is twist's and turns throughout the film. My husband loved it so much that I decided to buy this for him. It's definately worth buying! It takes you through time but in a way that it differs from the rest of the "time traveling" films. It's the only one of it's kind and Would make a wonderful gift for anyone.
