VHS : Masada
Masada (Hebrew îöãä, pronounced Metzada, from îöåãä, metzuda, "fortress") is the name for a site of ancient palaces and fortifications in the South District of Israel on top of an isolated rock plateau, or large mesa, on the eastern edge of the Judean Desert overlooking the Dead Sea. After the First Jewish-Roman War (also known as the Great Jewish Revolt) a siege of the fortress by troops of the Roman Empire led to the mass suicide of Jewish rebels, who preferred death to surrender.

VHS : The Brothers Karamazov (1958)
I saw this movie many years ago when I was little and liked it right away. It's a classic and I've been searching for a good German and English DVD for years but I found out it's obviously not available on DVD yet which I personally do think is a pity.

3.Cry Wolf starring: Errol Flynn, Barbara Stanwyck, Geraldine Brooks, Richard Basehart, Jerome Cowan

VHS : Cry Wolf
I have seen most (if not all) of his movies. Errol has always been at the top of my list for free spirited actors. He was a rogue. His alcoholism did not help his acting any, but he managed to (in his younger years) be a fine actor with character and heart for the roll he was playing. The movie had a good plot but not enough (at least for me) interaction between him and Barbara. Because I am a very outspoken person, Barbara could have done a better job of standing her ground and confronting him, instead of sneaking ... Read More:

Perhaps one of his best films, Chance the Gardiner (Sellers) delivers a master performance for any viewer...of course the film is dryer than a pair of old ladies on a golf course but the episodes that take place in the film are sure to please any audience!

6.Satan Bug starring: George Maharis, Richard Basehart, Anne Francis, Dana Andrews, John Larkin
directed by: John Sturges
September 01, 1998
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

VHS : Satan Bug
The Satan Bug is an uncharacteristic Alistair Maclean movie in that ,unlike his biggest box office pictures, it is not a straightforward slice of heroics but a more nuanced espionage slanted movie with some moral ambivalence to it .It seems Maclean reciognised this too for he authored the book pseudonymously -as Ian Stuart.

The Satan Bug is a deadly virus developed by the US government in a secret research facility in the desert.Flasks housing samples of the virus are stolen and threats issued to unleash the plague on ... Read More:

VHS : The Rebels: Part 2 of the Kent Family Chronicles
i love john jakes kent family novels but i have to say the rebels was the least of the books.very little war happens in it and the two main people the novel follows never meet.
well the mini-series takes care of all of that and is a very good rousing adventure story with a great cast and the best sound track of any of the jakes mini-series. andrew stevens once again plays philip kent and is joined by a young don johnson as judson flecher. the action flows nicely in this one and the cast is great. do yourself a favor and check this one out.

8.Rage starring: Anna Aries, Richard Basehart, Nicolas Beauvy, John Dierkes, Lou Frizzell

VHS : Rage
Yes, it was the 70s. I saw this as a young father or 4, alone. My wife wouldn't go, she had read a review. Within the structure of the film there was much to breed hate and mistrust. The acting was as precise as a scalpel, thinly drawn and never over the line. I am relating my impressions of seeing this film in its original theatrical run over 35 years ago. Rage struck me right up front, full-faced, and it has never completely left my mind. Richard Basehart and Martin Sheen play off each other, and George C. Scott, with just enough character to ... This a great American classic and I still prefer this version to the one with Patrick Stewart from the mid 1990's. I will enjoy it for years to come.

VHS : Four Days in November
A very interesting documentary on the events of november 63... On the same level as one of the greatest documentary film: "The Rise and the Fall of the Third Reich"...

I consider myself very lucky to own this video...
