I watched this movie many times as a kid (for some reason, it was on early Saturday mornings a bunch of times), and I *loved* it. I just remembered it now for some reason, and had to look it up! It's a classic, and I highly recommend it.

Please!!! Will someone please release this on DVD! I've been waiting for this forever and all I can find are cheap bootlegs that play but not well! If I had a VHS player I would buy this here but I don't so I won't. Props to the company for providing the VHS though!

Just to offer my two cents, now that both versions are on DVD:

Regardless of what aspect ratio it was originally shot in, the full-screen version is indeed pan & scan. I now have both. If you compare the two, you'll see the newer widescreen DVD is not missing any of the picture from the top or bottom. It is the full-screen that is indeed missing the sides.
I never saw it in the theater, so I can't say how it was originally projected.
Either way, it's one of the best ... Read More:

VHS : Ski Patrol
Well this is definitely one of the weirdest snow ski movies I've ever seen. And when I first saw it, I tried to cross-referrence the characters in it compared to the ones in the Police Academy movies. It stars Roger Rose, Yvette Nipar, T.K. Carter, the late Ray Walston, and Martin Mull. Snowy Peaks I believe which is the name of this ski resort is where it takes place, and they are about to be evaluated on their performance, and when Martin Mull finds out about it, he tries to blackball their safety ... I have yet to receive my purchase, this seller made promise after promise and excuse after excuse, she did not follow through on any of them for the past 2 months. The first excuse was to get me to retract negative feedback, which I mistakenly did beacause I was suckered in. Beware!!

I admit that I was slightly dissapointed when I watched this movie. The fact that there were different actors and actresses took awhile to get used to, but they were better than I expected. Tim Curry was actually a very good Gomez, apart from his attempt to sound Spanish. Daryl Hannah was a wonderful Morticia, accept for the fact that the person who tweezed her eyebrows did a very bad job. Wednesday was not the same, Christina Ricci portrayed her part alot better, but she was an okay Wednesday. As for Pugsley, ... Read More:

Ralph is back! John Clark Matthews is amazing. This movie was hilarious! I remember some funny lines. Ralph: I thought I gave you a ride. I did, didn't I? [later] Uncle Lester: Ralph you're grounded!

Ralph: But I did wat you said. Uncle Lester: Did what I said, but I didn't say to do that!

Fred Savage was cool for Garfield, and Conchata Ferrel was funny for Aunt Jill. Kellie Martin who played Karen was amazing, and Sara Gilbert and Summer Phoenix who were Stephanie and Vanessa were great. Walker ... Read More:

I remember watching this movie on showtime or hbo back in the 80's and I know it was the movie that I still talk about that really made me jump in a projectile mode across the couch. I was hoping to get it in DVD so as to show it to a roommate of mine. Just can't find it except in VHS tape. That saddens me.
