VHS : The Pursuit of D.B. Cooper
This is a good action film. Lots of fun. I was the Location Manager on this picture and we made two moves while filming. WE shot about half the film in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and the other half in Tucson, AZ. Believe it or not, when Treat William jumps out of the plane, he actually lands on Mt. Lemmon here in Tucson. I had lots of fun working on it and I think it turned out really good. If you like older, action films with lots of humor, you will like the film. Something to look for...The rapids were in Jackson ... Read More:

Dear Amazon

Great DVD of The Shadow Riders, always love Louis L'Amour movies, pity they didn't do a few more movies of his books. Tom Selleck and Sam Elliott were very good. Thank you for getting it to us very quickly, we really enjoyed it.

VHS : El Dorado
Mitchum(Baby,I don't care) seems to be having the most fun in playing the part of the drunken sheriff; his performance seemed most convincing.( Overall Dvd quality is good and with fine opening credits.)If they played this for farce, they may have gotten away with it. 2 Spitoons...just for Bob. (This was a big hit when it opened way back when so I guess they DID get away with it)Your move.

Another fabulous film inspired by Sid the Elf. You must check them out if you haven't already!

I've been a Norris Fan for quite some time, yet I haven't seen all of his movies since he's got over 500 in his library. So I've been catching up on my Chia-Chuck lately, hitting the good & the bad. This movie is quite good!

First of all it has a midget in the movie. And it's not your usual dwarf/elf/stunt-double midget. This little bugger is, basically, cause for all the chaos in the film. Midgets ... Read More:

VHS : White Lightning (1973)
Burt Reynolds at the top of his stud game, the hot, sweaty South, rednecks, shine, sexy 70's chicks, and powerful cars. I hardly know what to add.

As always, the 70's movies reel me in. This one's no exception. I suppose because I was a kid then, I love remeniscing. I like the big cars, the old advertisements, the clothing and hair styles, the lexicon of the era, people smoking indoors.

There is also a sense of more space as there really was more space. Land, I mean. You see more woods and fields in ... Read More:

VHS : Major Dundee
Sam Peckinpah's 1965 western Major Dundee is a near-great film that has a checkered history. The tale of its mangling by the studio that took it out of Peckinpah's hands is as well known as the butchery that accompanied Orson Welles' The Magnificent Ambersons or Touch Of Evil, or Erich Von Stroheim's Greed. But, Columbia studio's restored 136 minute long DVD version of the film really shines. Yet, some critics have still damned the film as a `noble failure' or the like. This is too bad since the film is likely the most realistic and ... Read More:

VHS : Steel (1979)
The Six Million Dollar Man plays The man of Steel. How perfect is that?! This movie took a place in Lee Majors' actual home town Kentucky. It was reported that they used actual under the construction building (Kincaid Tower) at the time and build the set on top roof of Eastern Kentucky University building for the shooting.

This was not critically claimed nor big box office hit, and yet it is the one of the best action drama Majors ever produced and stared. Steel surely shines in his life long acting career. It defines what ... Read More:

10.No Name on the Bullet starring: Audie Murphy, Charles Drake, Joan Evans, Virginia Grey, Warren Stevens

VHS : No Name on the Bullet
I agree with all those positive reviews given to this film. The story is a very good one and Audie Murphy is just right in the part. It is amazing what sometimes can come out with quite little of money. This is not a shoestring film, but there is no waste of money. I watched just Murphy's Gunsmoke, which is not a great film, but he is good in it, too. He is not just natural, but can act. If you like westerns, see this film.
