| Overall, this is one of the better sequels out there. The animation is wonderful and I love the soundtrack. This really keeps my 2 year olds attention and he loves Woody and Buzz. I think the first Toy Story was a little bit more unique/original/quippy, but this is great, too. |

| I caught this film many years ago on cable. I could've been around ten the first time that'd seen it or around that age. The begining of the film was really disturbing to me, but that really didn't stop in one place it kept happening throughout the film. It builds so well. The performances, to me are flawless, especially from the two leads, Wings Hauser and R. Lee Ermey. | It's super easy to tell the Robbins/Sarandon mindset on the issue of capital punishment by watching this movie. While it is well made and engaging, they chose to tell the story in a way which leaves little doubt about their feelings on the issue. That's not a bad thing, but it took some of the impact out of it for me, by overtly dramaticizing certain scenes, particularly the drawn out climax. | This isn't just another thriller. This one deals with psychology, philosophy, and the seven deadly sins (Gluttony, Greed, Wrath, Lust, Sloth, Pride, and Envy). This one shakes you to the bone (it really works as a top-rate thriller). The acting, the cinematography, the minimal music, and the urban setting are amazing.
