| Sure, we have a three year old at home. Now and then we watch TV together. Since watching movies with my kid is kind of new, I'm looking more closely at what to watch. Just about everything from Pixar and John Lassiter is some of the most inspired stuff I've come across.

| A "Guilty pleasure"? Perhaps but I never fail to be amused by the wacky chemistry of Bob Hope and Phyllis Diller in their work together. Having literally discovered Phyllis Diller in her night club act Bob Hope had the unique Miss Diller, who's trademark was wild hair and even crazier clothes, as his leading lady in three mid 1960's films, "Boy Did I Get a Wrong Number!", "The Private Navy of Sgt. | The three Bob Hope/Phyllis Diller comedies made in the mid 1960's, ie "Boy Did I Get A Wrong Number", "Eight On The Lam", and "The Private Navy Of Sgt. | I was just amazed how bad this was especially since it is a Rankin Bass movie. I totally disagree about this being a family film...it is not! They have one scene where two women get into a fight but first their clothes are removed down to their underwear before they begin fighting - not to mention that one women's boobs are so big and pointed that they could literally poke an eye out!

| Well, I have to disagree with the self-proclaimed "truth seeker". "truth seeker" clearly has no appreciation for spoofs in general. This movie is very entertaining. To enjoy a good spoof, you have to appreciate the movies that helped create it. In any case, the Silence of the Hams is a very funny experience. Using some of the greatest movies like Silence of the Lams and Psycho, this is just wonderful film work. Much worth the price of this hard-to-find video. |

| I remember LOVING this movie as a kid. Instead of Prince Charming being the knight in shining armor, it's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfelles who turn around and save *him*... I loved Lord Malice, Sunburn and Scowl the Owl (though I could never figure out why a guy like him would hang around someone who's *that* annoying). I could tell the film was pretty rare and was obviously not made by Disney.

| If you like the Mrs. Piggle Wiggle books, don't get the movie. it follows the wonderful books only loosely. The videos are shallow and slapstick. Filled with cheap puns appropriate mostly for adults. The set looks like a take off of Blues Clues and dialog make Barney looks sophisticated. My kids like it okay, but my husband and I could barely sit through it. Wait for the book on tape. |
