| he only thing that I don't like about these Disney DVDs is that they're all SO expensive!!!
Some new DVDs are 15 bucks, but the Disney ones are always 19 bucks +. I don't understand it. Can't a kid buy a Disney DVD for 15 or so bucks anymore? Guess that answer is NO. Disney's "The Little Mermaid" mostly takes place in the sea. Ariel, who is 16, is very stubborn and headstrong, and disobeys her Father, King Triton at every opportunity. She's lovely ... | I remember my parent's taking my brother, sister, and I as kids to see this movie. (A LONG time ago)
I found it hilarious as a child, and watched it several times as an adolescent on cable. I ordered it because I remember Dom DeLuise being SO GREAT as Sonny's best INSANE friend trying to help him kill himself. Throughout the years my family has kept phrases from this movie alive. | I remembered watching this movie as a child so I decided to get it. It's not quite like I remembered, there are a lot of songs sung in this movie, which it definitely not my thing. It could be compared to a bad disney sequel, however, I still love how John and his brother try to get their dad to let them open presents at midnight, because technically it's the 25th. My favorite parts are usually revolved around Odie, especially when he makes the back scratcher for Garfield. |

| This movie more than any other has always brought tears to my eyes. It is so close to the real Jesus and gives a better idea of the Man that He was in life on earth. | This holiday special was really good. I had never even seen or heard of this until it came out on dvd, so I picked it up. Oh my gosh. Funny! Especially Grandma. She never fails to disappoint in the humor department. And what's Jon thinking, trying to cook a fully-frozen turkey at 500 degrees for about an hour? It's clear Mom never taught him to cook. | The other reviews are accurate. This is beautifully crafted film. The plot however turns around a lesbian relationship. Lesbians are compassionate and wonderful, Christians are small minded, ignorant, and repressive. Unless you want to be fed pro homosexual, anti Christian propaganda skip this film, no matter how well made it is. |
