| What a pleasure it is to watch actors who know what they're doing. Albert Finney and Vanessa Redgrave become Winston and Clementine Churchill in this understated film depicting the final years before the explosion that was WWII. No histrionics here.

| I LOVE THIS MOVIE!! It is just quirky enough for my sense of humor. It is also the first time I became a fan of Quintin Tarantino. If you like his warped sense of humor you will love this movie. |

| I thought this movie would be a bummer when I saw the introduction, but it was better than I thought and pretty funny. Spencer Tracy plays the father to Elizabeth Taylor's bride, and he's hesitant about her marrying at the age of 20. But she won't be stopped, and all chaos ensues as the expenses and situational problems crop up along the way. However, there is a happy ending for all. It's a nice movie to see. |
