| Why is there no Region 1 DVD release of Sleeping Beauty available? All of the other Cannon Movietales (except this and the Frog Prince)are available. I think it is unfair that the two best ones are not available. Please release this and the Frog Prince on region 1 DVD. Pretty please!!! |

| Yes, The Initiation of Sarah was inspired by Carrie -- but it also surpasses Carrie. For unlike Carrie, The Initiation of Sarah was a TV-movie, hence subject to budgetary and censorial restraints. But it overcame these restraints, even turning them to its advantage by emphasizing story and acting and atmosphere over shocks and gore. It's my personal favorite horror TV-movie, better than the oft-cited and rightly praised The Night Stalker.

| Saw this film some 8 years ago, still able to recite the moneylender scene, but growing weaker as time goes by. With a "hint" of Python to it, this appeals to all Python lovers. One of the all time classic comedies, need to brush up on the memorising of the script, and sing a long with the rowing song. An absolute must. Any copies out there. |

| this is the greatest movie ive ever seen. it reminds me of my childhood growing up in the 80s. i recommend everyone to see it and you will have the song stuck in ur head for days! "if you go out in the woods today, ur sure of a big surprise!" |

| Standard mix for teen comedies, much like Road Trip or Bikini Carwash, with your standard silly jokes, some nudity, average acting, and embarassing situations. What made this comedy above average for me was the sci-fi tinges (teens who have never known sex travel back in time to an all-girl academy!), which were managed quite funnily, and the imposing presence of Morgan Fairchild, who does her best to put some serious material amongst the laughs. It is not a movie to roll on the floor with laughter, but you will have a good time. |
