| There are some things in a animated cartoon that make them so unique. It has to come within a good sense of humor, joy and laughter, but also being as smelly and as disgraceful as you could possibly imagine. | This movie had, and has, a special place in my heart. A good story that leaves you rooting for the good guys. Something about the Olympics in the 1980's connected on a personal level. Maybe it was because of the many underdog types actually winning.

| Suddenly, as the film opens in Halloween 4: The Return of Micheal Myers, we as the viewer are subject to some odd little facts that just suddenly happened. Jaimie Lee Curtis is nowhere to be found, she suddenly has a daughter, Loomis is at his looniest and SOMEHOW survived the explosion in 2 (impossible) and on top of THAT, he lived threw it all with only a few visible scars on his face...

| I am a rabid fan of the original Ren and Stimpy. It was more than just a funny cartoon it really and truly was a work of art.
it is no surprise that the original creator of the show quit in disgust or that the series was finally canceled as it was just too intelligent for television. The characters were drawn with such funky grace and the mat painting was something worthy of display in an art gallery. | Having read many of the worst reviews, I can fully appreciate where the kids are "coming from". They don't really get it because it was too full of the symbols of the time in which the film was shot. It is obviously not a piece of timeless art intended for future generations. It was for that time and it accomplished its goal, which was to wake up a new generation to the possibilities of life. Choices. the music was current and dynamic and added to the power. | George Hamilton is the last of the great Draculas. I didn't care for the Frank Langela remake, or the Klaus Kinsky remake of Nosferatu Eine Symphone des Grauens as Nosferatu Phantom der Nacht. It's gotten steadily worse with Gary Oldman and Mark Warren as Dracula and William DaFoe as Max Schreck (a very real actor from the Max Reinhardt troupe that produced Conrad Veidt and Paul Weggener. Schreck's wife played Hutter's nurse in the hospital scene.)
