VHS : Common Ground (2000)
The stories are timeless and still relevant, even though one takes place in 1954, one in 1974, and the last in 2000. It is a similar format to "If These Walls Could Talk 2" in which there are three stories from three different generations. The 1954 sequence hits home, in spite of a "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy within the armed services, because even now, a military career can still be irreparably damaged if a soldier or officer is outed. Gay youths can relate to the 1974 story, seeing minimal progress ... Read More:

VHS : Great Waldo Pepper
I refused to buy this on DVD for years. If they reissue it again on full screen I will still refuse to buy it. The day they release it on wide screen then I will get a copy at once. This is one of those films that I must have in my collection, but the WHOLE THING, not just the main part in the middle.

I don't have anything to add to the excellent review by Ralph R. Echtinaw: I agree with everything he said.

I am putting up this entry simply in protest (also), that The Great Waldo ... Read More:

I saw this in the theater in '75 and I've never forgotten it. An excellent reincarnation movie that feels very realistic!! Michael Sarrazin is a veteran actor but this is the film I remember him from the most (along with "Gumball Rally"! - I can't believe it's not yet on DVD.

great, enjoyable movie. beautiful soundtrack. just wish r. donner had done more with the man of steel just like g. reeves. foiling a bank robbery, bending steel bars, jumping out of a window, fight scenes with the bad guys. the scene when the bullets bounced off superman in the tunnel should have been left in the theatrical version. it's the 30th anniversary of the 1978 movie. i'm sure WB will re-release an expanded edition with all the deleted scenes that were never shown. i have VHS copies of the TV version off ... VHS : To Catch a Killer
I saw this film when it first came out on television. The film listed on this website is not the complete film. It has been cut from it's original version and format. To Catch A killer was just recienly on the Lifetime channel, and it is spli into to parts. This film is at least almost 4 hours long, and not 95 minutes. Anyone wanted to get this great film starring Brian Dennehey should try to search for the original un-cut version. To Catch A Killer is an intense, and horrifying depiction of the infamous killer (John Wayne ... Read More:

VHS : Black Christmas
Finally seeing it after all too long, I was glad to see that Black Christmas really holds up. The story of a regular group of sorority girls stalked and murdered by a madman is very much a chilling, suspenseful and engrossing tale. What really works best is how the killer, who is perhaps called Billy, is kept entirely a mystery. We don't know where he comes from, why he does what he does, and often see things from his perspective up in the dark attic. His rants, screams, whispers, glances and shadow is what makes for a really frightening ... Read More:

VHS : Sisters
This is a great film! Although the acting is a bit rough for a few characters I found myself drawn into the story line. We have Danielle Breton (Margot Kidder) has a one-night stand with a black TV-game show player. The morning after, he is killed by Danielle's psycho twin sister, Dominique Blanchion. But Grace Collier (Jennifer Salt), an aspiring journalist, sees everything from her flat across the street. Things get even uglier when the journalist starts following Danielle and his strange ex-husband, Dr. Emil Breton (De Palma perennial weirdo ... Read More:

"The Clown At Midnight" is about a group of teenagers cleaning up an old Operah house that one of the teenagers name Kate, had a mother who was an opera actress, who was butchered by a man wearing a clown mask. Then now, the teenagers are locked up, while one of their teachers/manager are missing, and then the clown starts to hunt them down, one by one...

It is well done, the death scenes were fair enough. There is a stabbing, a boy falling off a roof, an electricution, a hanging, a spear through a stomach, and an axe in the face, and a decapitation. But when ... Read More:
