| This is a fine movie from a veteran couple. The notes on the tumbleweeds, the romote western desert scenery, the stuggles, and the triumphs are classic cowboy poetry put to film. Look for a great old timer in this movie. Of Course, this is a Louis L'Amour story. It is written right and filmed right. |

| A must-see for those who did not grow up during the Debbie Reynolds' era. The music is melodious and the movie has a message. Great story, has everything, drama, comedy, unrequieted love, choices. Bittersweet ending for the viewer, joyful ending for the nun who asked the Lord for guidance, then let Him lead the way! |

| The doberman's are the "gimmick" in an otherwise average movie. However they are an impressive gimmick.The trainers get the dogs to do some amazing things. There's "kind of" a plot and "kind of " some acting a few decent lines and Katherine Ross but the Dobies and their acting are the main course. Imagine a "Benji" movie for grown-ups. If you are interested in animal training or dobermans, you'll like this movie. |
