VHS : Evening Star
By the time Jack Nicholson shows up for about five minutes of screen time as Garrett Breedlove, this turgid 1996 sequel to 1983's Terms of Endearment has already slogged through two deaths, a psychotherapist with an Oedipal complex, and a lot of scrapbooks. The problems with this shamelessly manipulative movie are many, and they all begin with the inevitable premise that tough Texas matron Aurora Greenway can carry on without being challenged by her feisty daughter Emma. However, without Debra Winger's ... Read More:

Leonardo Dicaprio's performance as an autistic teenager was absolutely superb. Johnny Depp's performance as a quiet, depressed and angst-ridden older brother was good as well, although he's more fun to look at than anything.:) The movie is very moving, and unlike anything I've seen. I really enjoyed it and would recommend it to people of all ages.

This is a wonderful movie set in the 50's about a little girl who adores her neighbor who lives across the street. A GREAT movie that should be released on DVD so that everyone can enjoy.

Me and a friend had been wanting to see this movie one for the content but also for its art prospective. I can't speak for my friend, but it was not what I expected at all. It is 4 hrs long (on the 2 disc special edition) and none of it is really any good. The movie bring up some points, that are great but other wise I would say this movie is not worth buying. Rent the movie before you consider buying. I wish I had.

This movie contains a lot of violence and gore. However the acting and special effects are more like those of a comic book than a serious film.

This has got to be the worst movie of 2004. Possibly the worst of the decade. I can see NO redeeming atributes what-so-ever. A total waste of film and a waste of your 2 hours.

9.Husbands & Wives starring: Lysette Anthony, Ilene Blackman, Cristi Conaway, Galaxy Craze, Blythe Danner

VHS : Husbands & Wives
Husbands and Wives was released in 1992, and it is the last movie Woody Allen made with Mia Farrow--their unlucky thirteenth. It was released just in time to benefit from intense interest in the courtroom stand off between Woody and Mia over Woody's relationship with Mia's adopted daughter, Soon-Yi. Not to say that this was a calculated career move, but the film did better at the box office than any of his other films. It offered uncanny parallels into the real life drama, but it also differed in many respects. Still, it was weird how life imitated ... Read More:

VHS : Old School (Rated)
I don't think there is enough space in this review window to do this movie justice! This is the movie that helped launch the careers of such celebrated comedians like Will Ferrell, Luke Wilson and Vince Vaughn! And man do they earn their honors with this movie! I think one of the things that makes this movie so widely loved is that it identifies with college students as well as people in their later 20s and 30s.

There are so much LOL moments in this that you'll barely have time to catch a breath. This is a worthy DVD buy because this movie has ... Read More:
