| I have looked for this movie for years to come on DVD...but alas it hasn't happened yet. This movie, which is based on a book, truly shows what it was like to have to live (or 'survive' as you will) with someone who is egocentric and artistic. I don't understand why people wanted this movie to explain Picasso as a person...the title tell you its about someone who SURVIVED Picasso. This man didn't want to be understood. | I first saw this film on VHS during my Anthony LaPaglia infatuation. That phase is long over yet this remains one of my top 20 films of all time. I bought it again on DVD and still really love it when I feel like life is kicking me just for the fun of it. What gets me every time is the cat and mouse game fate plays with all the characters.

| When we viewed this movie on TV, it did not contain profanity. We purchased it because it was so funny, and we wanted to share it with our grandchildren. That will not happen. Your review should have stated not appropriate for children because of language. |

| I first saw this moving on tv but I missed part of it so I had to buy it to find out what I missed. Very good movie. Little Gloria was afraid of her mother so she lived with her aunt but the mother fought to get her back. her mother was a tramp & also liked women. |
