VHS : Children of a Lesser God
I have been friends with a woman who is deaf for almost 25 years. In fact taught me to sign. I am now teaching deaf in a public school. My friend grew up in a residential school. Marlie Matlin's character reminded me so much of my friend, that I spent most of the movie crying. It was a wonderful movie! It really showed me some insight to how my friend grew up.

directed by: Russell Mulcahy
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

VHS : Razorback
'Razorback', apart from 'Return of Captain Invincible' and maybe 'Performance', is likely the cultest film ever made. It's credentials are crackling; mad, bad killer pig, desert lunatics, animal rights protesters, camels, abattoirs, negligible special effects, arty direction, and a delicious ideal of senseless cruelty and insensitivity.
''Jaws' in the outback' just about sums it up, but with notable additions. It has two of the bestest, grotesque villains ever portrayed on film. Benny and Dicko work ... Read More:

VHS : Babar: The Movie
I loved this movie as a little toddler, must have watched it as much as I could when it was shown on cable. I decided to watch the movie again as an adult to see how it held up vs how I thought about it. It held up pretty well, it had elements of comedy along with presenting more mature themes in what I thought to be an appropriate way. I was not exactly sure if my niece would like it, the Rhinos get a little intense, but I would argue it's not as intense as some Disney movies like Lion King, Aladin, or the sharks in ... VHS : Jeffrey
Few people can write one-liners as Paul Rudnick can, and the best thing about this independent 1995 feature is that he wrote wonderful lines for Patrick Stewart and Sigourney Weaver that allowed these two superb actors some of the funniest lines they've ever had a chance to say on screen. Stewart plays the titular protagonist's best friend, a very stylish and very cutting Manhattan interior decorator; Weaver, in an absolutely inspired manic turn, is a high-energy New Age self-help guru who can barely conceal her contempt ...
