Thumbs down on this seller. I am very dissatisfied. I have bought many used items through Amazon and always had very good results with other sellers. I wrote to the seller and did not get a response. I asked for details on returns and no response. I asked for a refund and no response. Do not purchase from this seller. I am still waiting for action to be taken to resolve this issue. I rate this BAD (no stars).
I hope Amazon can help me with this problem.

VHS : A Time to Love and A Time to Die
Erich Marie Remarqe wrote All Quiet on the Western Front, and
A Time to Love and A Time to Die almost 30 years apart.
Yet these two stories and the films made from them, seem to speak to one another. Its as if the young soilder Paul is speaking to his counterpart, the mature soilder Ernest, across
a gulf of time. that spans two world wars.
These are two very moving and sad films. Statements on how ugly
and utterly useless war is.
I hope that this haunting film will on day be available on dvd.
Perhaps ... Read More:

I have never forgotten this movie from the first time I saw it in a theater. The shower scene scared me along with a lot of others there. At the time I had a Ford like Janet Leigh drove in the movie and would not open the trunk for a couple of weeks. I have it on tape and just had to add the Special Edition to my DVD collection of Hitchcock movies. It is one of his best. The fools that thought they could remake this movie were nuts. Part of what makes the movie so good is that it is in black and white. Besides no one can out do the master when it comes ... Read More:

I love movies about this period & Katharine Hepburn.

it is a old movie & you can tell but Ms.Hepburn is wonderful in it. She tries to take back her country but everyone is fighting her. They make her marry a man who she doesn't love & who is no good. Of course it doesn't work. They kill her best friend & go after her lover.
