I loved this movie as a child and my 2 year old loves it too.

VHS : Student Prince (1954)
I was dragged to this movie as a young boy. What young man wants to see a movie with a singing prince and a love story? It didn't take long for me to enjoy the story of male bonding by singing and drinking in the beer garden soon to be followed by a sword fight.
I can almost imagine myself serenading the beautiful and sexy barmaid (Ann Bylthe), especially with the flawless voice from GOD(Mario Lanza) lip-synced to near perfection by the prince(Edmund Purdom).
All this plus an arrogant ... Read More:

I did not particularly liked the movie. I think it was done on the cheap, too full of cliches, macho posturing, and as usual depicted the foes of Bowie, Crockett, and other defenders of the Alamo as unconscionable, mean people, misstatements, and with omissions of truths. I personally do not recommend the movie to anyone.

VHS : Rhapsody (1954)
Glorious music and glorious robes for Liz Taylor. Butmy God what a trashy story - yes, of course the woman has to be selfless, of course she has no talent whatsoever. This is how girls were taught to be dummies....

The film starts with a hauting music and ends with a man stepping off a train in a small town. His mission to hand a over a war medal to a father who is japanese for the gallantly death of his son in the war. This classic film which turns into a first grade thriller is awesome. This word should be used for the perfect cinemascope transfer on this disc.It comes with a very informative audio commentary and a trailer. For my opinion this film delivers Spencer Tracy's best performance and Robert Ryan brings the unforgettable ... Tony Randall steps away from his usual roles as a germophobic neat freak (and a bit of a dandy) and becomes the enchanting and magical Dr. Lao, a travelling showman! But Dr. Lao's circus is no ordinary circus. From the moment it appears, seemingly out of nowhere, the residents of a quiet, turn of the century western town soon find out that this circus will change their lives forever.
The various acts in Dr. Lao's circus (all performed by Randall in many guises) will force the townsfolk to forget their own petty and self absorbing ... Read More:

VHS : Green Fire
In her brief but extremely successful film career spanning only six years Grace Kelly managed to fit in many great performances in such memorable efforts as "Mogambo", "Dial M For Murder", "Rear Window", "The Country Girl" and "High Society ". "Green Fire", co starring Stewart Granger was one of the few films she actually made at her home studio of MGM which in theory should have been the studio most suited to displaying her obvious talents to best advantage. MGM however seemed content to simply loan her out to other studios eager to hire ... Read More:

O.K. Anyone that knows of Russ Myers work (faster, kill, etc) this is a great flick, Well, we know Russ was a Breast man. And the openess of the late 60's & 70's shows in his films. Bad effects, bad acting, and cheesey plots to get people naked. "pizza Delivery" "Did someone call for a Plumber to clean her pipes?" LOL.
Just roll with it,. Show your 17+ year old what we call pornographic for the time,. If you can find a copy in BETA, and a player, like I saw it in '74 or sometime..

Valiant effort at recreating the feel of WWI aviation but 'over acting' is a detriment. It is still an enjoyable motion picture none the less.
