| I love all of the TBAA episodes, but this is my absolute favorite! This was also the first one I ever saw. Movies usually are not able to make me cry, but this one has me in tears every time! What really does it is Monica's (one of the angels) incedible devotion to Jean Chang. When Jean is in prison, some common criminals are hired by the police to beat her to death. | I agree totally with Patricia A. Sanders. I thought I was emotionally dead but then I put this movie in the DVD player and off I was to feeling strong emotions again. This one has the magic for sure. It pulls all the strings in your heart and it thrills you to the bone. Excellent. Steven Spielberg sure knows how to make a wonderful movie. Every scene steals your heart! Don't miss this one. |

| It would be fair to say of this film, being made almost twenty years ago, with a pretty low budget, it holds it's own, despite it's weak script. The acting, anchored by the always brilliant James Earl Jones along with Eric Roberts and cast, is fine. But the film might not be too entertaining for a martial arts film fanatic. Unlike Best of the Best II, which I definitely recommend, the fight scenes here don't come as frequent and aren't as graphic as what might be seen in your average martial arts flick. | I've never been a huge fan of this show, in fact the holiday episode with Ann-Margret was the only episode I caught. That being said, it's one of the most touching and well acted (largely in part due to Ann-Margret's brilliant performance) show I've seen in a long time. This episode will surely make you teary-eyed...I was expecting a sappy holiday episode and this is in no way that! This is a great piece of work. Ann-Margret was overlooked by the EMMY committee (as usual) for this one. |

| I saw this movie on TV years ago, and I was very impressed with the concept of comodoties.Unfortunately with power and money also comes responsibilities, but wasn't expecting murder. Two years ago, I saw a small article in the local newspaper that said that people have seen Ron Levin(the guy that Joe had killed) at restaurants and at the theatre. People claim that he was a con artist and that he faked his own death to put Joe away for life.
