| The play 'Cabaret' seems to evoke the atmosphere of 1930s Berlin and the tawdry desperation of that time. The movie version is very good with vivid costumes, color and music, though I've seen a version by a local small-town theater group that I thought had a better story line. |

| This is a strange little art-house film that holds your attention simply because you have no idea just where it is going or why. I found the ending unnerving but oddly fitting. A surprisingly different role for James Spader to play and I am not sure he pulled it off in his usual competent way. |

| Patrick Stewart is the PERFECT Scrooge. I own this version and watch it every single year. It never gets old. It's one of the best "A Christmas Carol"'s I have seen. It always puts me in the Christmas spirit. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves Christmas movies. It's a perfect movie to watch over Thanksgiving weekend to get yourself in the spirit. |

| ROFL, yeah I'm going to pay that in your dreams. It is a good thing I don't base my review on the ridiculous prices of these outrageous sellers. If I based it on them I would give it no stars. Great movie with good story and cast, I will be glad when it is finally back in print. I would be very surprised if it isn't re-released on DVD. Just be patient. |

| "KAFKA" is one of those movies that was both negelected by the audience and the critics, and very unjustifiably so. What's exactly wrong with this picture? Is it because a lot of Very Heavy-Thinking Bookreaders claim that the real Franz Kafka is untouchable, and so: not-filmable, and there for, when this is done anyway, it must be condemned even before one single frame is actually seen?

| As the previous viewer was upset over the book vs. movie I can say I didn't even know there was a book to this story. It's a wonderful story - beautfully told and it will keep you on hte end your seat the entire time. I wish they would make in on DVD. It deserves one!

| This was a good follow up to mtotc. I must warn you about the dvd. The first would not do anything and then I had it replaced and the second did the same. I would not buy the dvd. I then ordered the Vhs and that did fine until the last 10 minutes. It started skipping and you could see a clip here and there. Missed the best ending. This is why I gave it a four star. Hope there will be more to come and that the next one will work properly. |
