I see alot of ppl reviewing like this is the 1985 special with just a new case. It's not I've seen this remake on television. It's been aired on Disney Channel I believe. They took the original book and the concept from Rankin-Bass' puppet adaption and just used tradition animation to remake the exact same film. I don't like how they remade alot of the characters and the original will always by far be the best because Rankin/Bass were and are cutting edge in my mind.

I think it goes without saying that you shouldn't expect historical accuracy out of Disney. This is a company built on talking mice and mermaids, so I didn't wasn't looking for a history lesson. That aside, this movie wasn't as horrible as most of the direct-to-video sequels. The songs weren't memorable, but they didn't grate on my nerves. And, while I'm no expert, I felt that the animation wasn't bad either. It wasn't on par with the first movie. But it wouldn't have been out of place on a Saturday morning cartoon.

VHS : Mickey's Twice Upon a Christmas
After watching Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas(which I thoroughly enjoyed),I decided to also buy it's sequel(being a lover of all things Christmas and Disney).

It was only when I bought it,I realised it was computer animated...
(This was also the first time the Disney characters were seen in 3D animation).

'Oh here we go'...I thought to myself.

I usually find that when Disney uses computer animation(apart from Pixar, which is obviously brilliant),it takes the charm out,so I really dreaded ... Read More:

VHS : Piglet's Big Movie (Walt Disney Pictures Presents)
This is a great movie for kids. Our 3.5yr and 22 month old take great delight in watching this over and over again! The great news is, the adults are not yet tired of it. The story is entertaining, the music and songs are delightful and compared to other Pooh movies, it is by far the most engaging and well produced. It is a firm family favourite and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a lovely movie, with good humour, great animation, brilliant music. Buy it and push play!
