| History buffs may burst a blood vessel at my 3 stars; and truly I'd like to split it right down the middle at 2 1/2 stars. Amazons and Gladiators is eye candy, nothing more. The feminist message of the words is belied by the costuming and every visual detail of the film, and historically it's a total mess--it takes place in 60 A.D., and at the end the voice over says something like "and the Empire would soon fall." | The guys drive the plot in this one, the girl is just along for the ride. However without her you would have forgotten Delusion a long time ago. WONDERFUL desert a la Zabriskie Point or Bert Stern. A couple of seasoned actors are great as secondary characters - mafia boss & marked man. One of hundreds of road movies, but better than most of them. |

| I enjoyed the film and found myself at the edge of my seat at times waiting to see what happened, which really surprised me. I guess I was, to be honest, expecting so little I really liked it. The storyline was different enough from any I had seen that it really piqued my interest. The highlight in the cast was Sheeri Rappaport, though, clearly the best actor in the film, and not just because of her nudity in the film She came across as very realistic. | Well, this is not Colin's best. It is dangerously close to a thrown-together Hollywood hills soft core film. It is rare to see him play nasty. (He plays two characters actually, so his nastiness turns out not to be his real self.) There's some mystery, some twists and turns, some skin. The other actors are wooden, plot is thin. |

| TWISTS OF TERROR is an import from Montreal TV and its quite good for one of those anthology horror movies. The first tale, "The People You Meet" brings us Jennifer Rubin and Carl Marotte as a couple on their second honeymoon, who are forced off the road by a speeding sportscar. They get a lift from a doofus who you can tell is not what he seems.
