I have long been a fan of this movie. It's not a "blood and guts" horror flick but instead plays games with your head. It was great to find it on DVD!

I watched this movie because a friend recommended it to me and was not dissapointed.Just a great idea that was realised, usually these movies can't keep you interested for the sort of time this does.Later I was able to get it as and ex rental for $2,what a bargain but now my video player has died I am hoping they release it on DVD.But just a fun movie for all ages.

3.Willow starring: Val Kilmer, Joanne Whalley, Warwick Davis, Jean Marsh, Patricia Hayes

VHS : Willow
Willow was such a delightful movie. I've had the movie for years and about every two years I play it again--it's that entertaining. You would think Hollywood would take the hint and had sequels to this movie. I feel this way about Clash of the Titans also--still playing it every so often since the 80's! Anyway, Val Kilmer was great and the little folks stole the show! We need more--come on Hollywood, start growing some smarts!

4.Danny Champion on the World starring: Jeremy Irons, Robbie Coltrane, Samuel Irons, Cyril Cusack, Michael Hordern
directed by: Gavin Millar

We watched this movie just this weekend, with our three teenagers, who were enthralled. Great for all ages!

D-day had failed. Kennedy is president, Joseph sr. that is, not John. Hitler is about to celebrate his 75th birthday. That was all the exposition I needed. It's springtime for Hitler in Germainia. We lost. It is the early 60's & the cold war has taken a hard left turn from what we know happen. The Germans are still fighting the Russians. Hitler wants a peace treaty with The United States. It is about to happen. President Kennedy is coming to Berlin & bringing a lot of reporters. One problem: the Final Solution, what we now know as the ... Read More:

The Art of Storytelling: How To Write A Story....Any Story
Shadow Watcher
Nobody Drowns in Mineral Lake

Even though this WW2 espionage drama is well made and completely engrossing, it's a hard picture to embrace...primarily because there is nobody in it that you can like and want to root for during the first hour or so.

True, Michael Caine and Robert Duvall play "good Germans"; honorable soldiers who detest Hitler and his policies, but are sworn to do all they can for their country. And, Donald Sutherland, who works for the ... Read More:

Alfred Hitchcock - The Legend Begins (20 Movie Classics)
I saw FRENZY from my Dad's collection. Hitchcock has that rare ability to evoke the most devastating fear with a minimum of on-screen blood and violence. My Dad used to say of Hitchcock films, " It's not what you see, but what you don't see that is so frightening." Hitchcock delights in turning macabre scenes into black comedy. Such is the scene in which a corpse's stiff leg refuses to be neatly packed, intact with its body, into a sack of potatoes. Hitchcock is taking something attractive and making it repugnant ...
