VHS : Roll of Thunder Hear My Cry
The video story had a good concept, a good plot showing events that were very realistic, but it left out key events such as the revenge of Cassie against Lilian Jean, how the blacks were treated in school, and the revenge of the Logan children getting back at the white bus driver. Watching the movie with important events left out, left the audience confused.

VHS : For Keeps
I love this movie! Two Teens who live next door suddenly discover the girl is pregnant. It is very well acted and shows some of the trials of thinking marriage is a fairy tale.

3.Boy Who Could Fly starring: Chris Arnold, Cameron Bancroft, Michelle Bardeaux, Bonnie Bedelia, Mindy Cohn

VHS : Boy Who Could Fly
I remember this movie from years ago, and was looking for some uplifting title to watch and finally bought this. Fred Savage is wonderful as an eight year old dealing with his father's death. This movie does have a few "gimme a break" moments, but if you just suspend judgement it will make you feel so good. The message of the movie is that anything is possible, and it really is. You will smile.

VHS : Star Trek - The Original Series, Episode 20: The Alternative Factor
Yes, there are holes in logic big enough to pilot a starship through. And yes, watching the two versions of Lazarus spend the episode trading places is annoying in the extreme, helping to send this episode to the bottom of the barrel. But beneath this nonsense there is a message carefully clothed in sci-fi terms.

Robert Brown (Here Comes the Brides) plays Lazarus, a man who discovered a doorway to a parallel "negative" universe. For every positive particle in our universe, there's a corresponding ... Read More:

VHS : For Us, The Living - The Story of Medgar Evers
For Us the Living, a movie that recently sneaked onto video after airing on national T.V. The story of Medgar Evers, a civil rights leader from the early to mid sixties who was murdered by the Klu Klux Klan. This movie tells us first hand how Medgar, took on racist politicians and came home to be a loving husband. Played beautifully by Holling Rollins, and the gifted Irene Cara. It is on my shelf right there by Malcolm X.

6.The Big Squeeze starring: Lara Flynn Boyle, Danny Nucci, Peter Dobson, Luca Bercovici, Michael Chieffo
directed by: Marcus DeLeon
February 22, 2000
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

VHS : The Big Squeeze
THE BIG SQUEEZE (1996) tells a story of a fight between a man and
his wife over a medical disability and health insurance claim paid
out by an insurer to them, in a lump sum.

Although this isn't made clear at all in the outset (the film
suggesting a sinister plot) much of the film, unfortunately or not,
is a parody of fundraisers done by NP0's, such as religious
organizations of all kinds, that are in dire straights in this day
and age from the taxman's cut, the need ... Read More:

The female lead is interesting and sexy, and I think many woman will identify with her smarts, loneliness, and sexual passions. The serial killer story line has tension and several twists, it keeps you guessing who the killer really is. Warning: this is soft porn-but ew la la, it is really luscious.

VHS : Deadly Observation
With its plot details and production characteristics parroted, to say the least, from the soap opera genre, this film made for television has a tired feeling to it, and any energy created by the players appears to be flat and lacking essence. For the medical programmer based in a New York City's psychiatric ward (presented in a quaintly unrealistic manner), top billing goes to Melissa Gilbert as Lisa DaVito, a freshman psychiatrist completing her residency there, and whose career and private life are muddled by a young ...
