| This is just a fun movie. Luciano is the only reason I bought it.
And he comes through in great form. But I fell in love with the nuns. Great for a relaxing sunny Sunday afternoon. The infidelity was disturbing and I think it could have been done much better. |

| Well, I guess I'm out of step with most reviewers on this one. I'm a great fan of the Duke, but this is one of his worst films. I didn't buy the plot for a minute. The scenes between Lauren Bacall and Wayne show zero chemistry. Frankly, much as I love Bacall's early films, she never quite made the transition from alluring ingenue to fully adult actress. | Big Trouble in Little China is a cult classic. Like most cult classics (Raising Arizona, Robocop, Matrix, Dumb and Dumber, etc.) you're either going to "get" this movie or you won't. The FX in this movie can be cheesy - they didn't have a huge budget. But what works fantastically with the script is the off the wall fusion of red neck machismo and Kung Fu mysticism. | Ninja III: The Domination gets five stars from me for the martial arts sequences. Lucinda Dickey does many of her own stunts here, too---some quite impressively. This picture really deserves a DVD release soon. |

| It took me a second viewing to really appreciate this film. Since then I have watched it many times.
This is one of the rare movies where Richard Gere has an equally attractive co-star (Valerie Kaprisky). Intersection with Sharon Stone would be another example. Richard and Valerie are hard to beat as pure eye candy. They apparently agreed, as word has it that they embarked on a tempestuous affair after this film. | Say what you will about Roman Polanski's personal life, this film is one of the greatest american noir releases of the last 50 years. Jack Nicholson, Faye Dunaway and John Huston are superlative. Jerry Goldsmith's score is moody and resonant, perfect for a story of this nature.
