| I first saw this movie in the theaters as a teenager, I took my little brothers and sister to see it and it was so good we stayed in the theater for a second showing. My friends and I that watched it when it arrived were all laughing and enjoyed the movie immensly. Something this good never goes out of style. |

| This movie was made in the days before film-makers realized that people were sophisticated enough to recognize corn when they saw it. Horz Bucholz's impetuous kid act was just total corn. Talk about bad acting. Robert Vaughn deliberately affects some kind of bizarre weakling voice quality.

| Watch the film with the English subtitles ON. You will learn a lot about "The (Comic) Code of the West" from the theme song. In his first scene, James Coburn teaches you the dangers of competing with a "Professional Gambler" and he illustrates the best way to survive a gunfight. The "education" continues throughout the film, including the philosophy revealed in James Coburns last line. It is a comic romp that is not dated, it is as funny now as when it was new. |

| I saw "Cross of Iron" when it was in theatrical release in 1977 and thought it was a pretty good treatment of the German side of WWII.
I watched it again last night on DVD and found myself fast-forwarding past the dull spots. Since I have collected WWII German militaria, lots of little mistakes in uniforms and equipment jumped out at me. | Snow dogs is about a man who gets to live where his mom used to live in Alaska. There he meets dogs who were Lucy's (his mom) snow dogs when she participated in the dog sled race. It's a very good storyline. I especially enjoyed watching this movie. If you like watching dog movies like Air Bud, I totally recommend this to you! |
