One of many of the late, GREAT Paul Newman's fine work on film. I first saw this film in the theater and simply had to purchase the DVD after the sad news of his passing. I think it is one of the must-haves of his work as an actor. |

| This is a wonderful movie and I don't understand why is has not been released on DVD years ago. It was one of Burt Reynolds best films, one that he should be proud to have released on DVD for all to see and let those that have not seen it find out just how great of a movie it really is.
This is one person that hopes it is released very soon, because it is one movie I will purchase ASAP... Thanks Someone who loves this movie........ |

| Yes, I am one of "those girls". I can watch this over and over and still swoon over the sheer cuteness of a heartfelt comedy that happily takes the ridiculous in stride. This is Sandra Bullock at the top of romance game playing an orphaned subway employee whose crush conveniently gets mugged into a coma on her watch. What follows is a sweet comedy about a girl without a family suddenly thrown into one. |

| The hardest part of writing a review for this movie was selecting a myriad of titles that filled my imagination: "Fell on its Own Plunger," or "Navy Recruiting Film," or "Pull the Pin on this One and Release the Charging Handle, " or "Weapons Free at the Movie Marquee."

| This is, quite simply, the best golf movie ever made. Yes, it is low budget in the early days of HBO films, but it is a well-acted, well-written movie. Randy Quaid turns in a brilliant performance. The supporting cast is equally skilled. The writing is superb. This movie OUGHT to be released on DVD. A better cast, top to bottom, than Tin Cup (with apologies to Cheech Marin). THE golf movie. |
