| I see alot of ppl reviewing like this is the 1985 special with just a new case. It's not I've seen this remake on television. It's been aired on Disney Channel I believe. They took the original book and the concept from Rankin-Bass' puppet adaption and just used tradition animation to remake the exact same film. I don't like how they remade alot of the characters and the original will always by far be the best because Rankin/Bass were and are cutting edge in my mind. |

| Mark Twain Tonight is now a valued item in my personal library of classics. One of my professors at college was inspired to impersonate Mark Twain based on this performance. I would highly recommend this educational & entertaining dvd for anyone who wants more than Hollywood mindless entertainment. |

| When so much uninteresting garbage is currently published on DVD, I find it hard to believe that this outstanding mini-series is not available.

| One movie I never forgot.....1968 stars Hunky Christopher Jones as the leader of the youth movement to take over America.. I said "Right On!" (I was 15 when I saw it) My 16 year old now who saw it shakes his head and said "What were you thinking?" Finding irony at the end....we all get old (if we are lucky!)... Richard Pryor, Hal Holbrook and the recently deceased Shelly Winters also star in this classic representation of the 60's youth. Enjoy the trip back in time!
