| I loved this series, when I first watched in on television back in the '80s. Every couple of years I pull the tape off the shelf and re-watch it.
This is not just for Bryan Brown fans, but for the Gordon Jackson fans in the crowd. Jackson's portrayal of a man who falls in love too late in life, is very touching. I would love to see it available on DVD! |

| I just watched this movie again for the 100th time and continue to think its one of the best movies of the 80's. It really captures the feeling of life in the 80's and what it feels like to be a smart teenager who gets treated unfairly. The soundtrack is also awesome- Billy Idol, Wendy O. Williams and Pat Benetar. I read that Benetar loves to rip this movie up in concert before singing the theme. Too bad she is such a idiot not even knowing the coolness that is this movie. | While the bear special effect definitely needed help it's a pretty fantastic movie for the whole family. Definitely one of those types of movies that you remember from your childhood and want desperately. It was definitely worth purchasing and my kids love it. |

| This is a great holiday movie, it's a musical but not over done. I highly recomend this for a christmal carol lovers. |

| Obviously this is an excellent epic! The DVD quality was average, the first DVD was not quite crisp in reception as you would expect in an average DVD. Perhaps this may have been due to VHS to DVD conversion. I was expecting a digitally remastered copy which this wasn't. Overall the DVD set was excellent value!

| I ordered this for my dad's birthday, thinking it would be something he would like and something that I would have no interest in. My brother watched it with him, and then told me that it was really good and that I should watch it.
