VHS : Gone with the Wind
This is the 716th review of this movie! What can I say that has not already been said about this wonderfully compelling movie? I will not comment on the restoration process or the pros and cons of buying the 2-disk or 4-disk set, as this is adequately discussed by many other reviewers. I will say that this movie won 10 Academy awards and is still regarded as the 6th best epic movie of all-time. That should be credentials enough to want to view this extraordinary movie.

VHS : The Making of a Legend: Gone With the Wind
This film is superb. I've watched it over and over again. And it's every bit as good as GWTW. I'm sure that David Selznick taught his sons the art of film making and it's obvious. One will only be as good as his teacher. A must for every film buff.

VHS : Return to Salem's Lot
If your a fan of 80's B-Movies like myself, this one is a must-have in your collection. While this doesn't compare to the original Salem's Lot, there is still entertaining humor to be had in this one. Most will rate this film terrible, but as the title of my review goes, it's only for the campy B-Movie collector only. too bad it's not officially on DVD....

VHS : Wicked Stepmother
After a 60 year acting career, a double mastectomy, followed immediately by a dabilitating stroke, 'The First Lady of American Cinema', Bette Davis kept acting. While she was living with terminal cancer, the daughter she adored wrote a stupid, burnable book about Davis which is obviously trying to capitalize upon her mother's successful career & great name; rather than being based in truth. Since it is a slam against Bette Davis as a mother, which has long been discredited, it is so true to the character of Bette Davis, who loved ... Read More:

This oater is standard issue with a clever setup. It's 1863 in the small ranching community of Red Valley, Utah. Robbers bust into the Clanton Bank but find no money. They kill a couple of townsmen during their getaway. Then we find out -- this is no spoiler -- it was a clever plot engineered by the respectable Stanley Clanton (Porter Hall), the banker, and the well-liked Uncle Willie McLeod (Edgar Buchanan), the feed and livery owner. Clanton had taken the money first. The bank robbery was for show. Clanton then paid off the bank robbers with ... Read More:

VHS : Lady in Question
A charming, cute movie, the first to pair Rita Hayworth and Glenn Ford, directed by Charles Vidor. Brian Aherne is funny and touching as Andre Morestan, the family man who finds himself a jury member on the case of young Natalie Roguin (Hayworth) accused of murdering her lover. After she is acquitted, Andre takes pity on the poor girl and gives her a job in his bicycle shop, as well as providing room and board, but concealing her true identity from his family. His son, Pierre (Ford), however, knows who she is as he stole into the courthouse one day during ... Read More:
