It is sad that this movie can't be released on DVD? When movies that are absolute waste of time and money are being released daily. I love this movie, it had me threw the whole picture.
To bad it will be seen by so few. Waiting for someone in Hollywood to wake up!

VHS : Silence of the North
This movie is a must see for all those who think that they can get rich quick. It is also an excellent movie with Ellen Burstyn giving a great performance. I first saw it on HBO, but have not seen it anywhere else. I had to include it in my collection. I thought that what Olive went through was a horrible experience and was in awe that she survived at all.

VHS : Flash (1998)
This good old...original Disney movie is one of my favorite horse movies and now a favorite horse movie of our sons. (our son, Rowdy is 7)

This is a film that captures the heart, spirit and bravery of a young boy and his horse/friend..."FLASH".
Connor (the boy...played by: Lucas Black), is left at home with his grandma, who later passes away. Connor shows his bravery by selling his horse/best friend..."Flash", to the horse ranch of a wealthy/selfish man and father of a boy he rode horses ... Read More:

VHS : Requiem for a Dream (Unrated Edition)
This is one of the most overpraised, overrated films in existence. The director has a gimmicky, show-offy quality to his work- it's all style, little substance. And putting all of your characters through the wringer (in increasingly outrageous and unrealistically heinous ways) seems to me a cheap trick by a filmmaker to reel in emotion from the viewer. That's what Requiem feels like to me: just a calculated human sideshow of unnecessary pain and tortue to gawk at. There's no depth there. Now, usually defenders of Requiem ... Read More:

There's something very special about this movie; the book upon which it was based must have something to do with this. I saw it years ago--but it still resonates. One day I'll get around to reading the book+

VHS : Night Ride Home
I found this film to be a very realistic example of lifes issues that a family sometimes experiences.A husband and wife drifting apart, teenage children growing up.All of a sudden a tradgedy happens and the blaming and anger and other emotions start to pile up and the pressures of people who don't really know each other as good as they thought they did starts to surface. Can they keep it together and pull through?Well I'll just say I recommend people watch it,because in our present daily lives maybe everyone can be inspired by this great ... VHS : When a Man Loves a Woman
Alice Green (Meg Ryan) and her husband, Michael (Andy Garcia) are a happily married young couple, until Alice's secret drinking problem is exposed. Alice goes to rehab and when she comes home, she and Michael don't know how to act with one another without the help of alcohol.

This is a really good romantic drama dealing with the terrible ways alcoholism affects a couple and their young children. Oh, my goodness - that Andy Garcia can act and he's quite the dreamboat, too. He's so utterly convincing as the tortured husband ... Read More:
