VHS : House of the Seven Gables (B&W)
Vincent Price did not always do horror movies, but he was always a good actor and this film proves it. Price actually does not play the heavy in this film, that role falls to George Sanders who excels in a role where he deals out treachery. Price, Sanders and Margeret Lindsay all give outstanding performances. This may not be Vincent Price's best film, but it certainly ranks up there as one of his best performances. This is not a horror film, but it is a dark film that shows the impact greed can cause. ... Read More:

VHS : Bullets Or Ballots (1936)
Following his brutal portrayal in "The Petrified Forest," Bogart became a much more articulate and calculating killer in "Bullets or Ballots," a gangster thriller starring Edward G. Robinson as a crusading crime-buster, modeled after true-life cop Johnny Broderick, known as "the toughest cop on Broadway," who pretended to be thrown off the police force in order to infiltrate Bogart's gang and get the evidence to bring him to justice...

Bogart revealed no emotion whatever as he goes about his ... Read More:

VHS : Return of Swamp Thing
Yes, it is goofy. Yes it is made by the same guy who made the pseudo-Conan THE SWORD AND THE SORCERER. Still, it's entertaining. Actually, I think it is actually better than the original (how did Wes Craven get hooked into that one?). True, you do have the two obnxious kids and Swamp Thing whacking away on creatures with big rubbery heads. Louis Jourdan returns as Arcane (didn't he literally loose his head in the first one), Sarah Douglas as an evil assistant and Heather Locklear as the eye-candy love interest for Swampy (this ... A really horrible movie! Not funny. Poorly made. Much of it was incomprehensible. Production quality was poor. Video manufacturing quality is poor. AVOID THIS CLUNKER!!!

9.The Wrong Arm of the Law starring: Peter Sellers, Lionel Jeffries, Bernard Cribbins, Davy Kaye, Nanette Newman
directed by: Cliff Owen
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

VHS : The Wrong Arm of the Law
While the premise held promise, this movie just didn't hang together very well. Lionel Jeffries's part was too thin for him to get his teeth in the way he did in Two Way Stretch. Peter Sellers seemed half hearted at times in this one as well. The business where the gang suspects that there is a mole in the organization goes nowhere. Nanette Newman's part was too thin as well especially since she was the mole. It has a lot of fine bits and funny gags, but too many very fine actors in this movie looked like they had wandered into the wrong movie by mistake. ... Read More:
