| I have been waiting for years for this movie to make it to dvd.To say that this movie is quirky is an understatement.
It follows a detective played beautifully by Dennis Hopper as he tries to solve a murder. | I never saw Chariots of Fire when it was in the theater in the early 80's, but I became interested in it after I saw some of the sites where it was filmed when I was in Scotland recently.
It's based on the true story of the track team of Great Britain in the 1924 Olympics in Paris. Eric Liddell has become one of my heroes -- standing for what you know is right even in the face of incredible pressure and sacrifice. It's an amazing film!! |

| Totally ridiculous, wasted a lot of money on the meaningless dynamite, gasolin and the explosions are absolutely unnecessary. The movie script is done by a 5th grader I think, so funny, shallow and so clueless, wasted Walken. The problem of this actor is that since he won the best supporting actor in the Deer Hunter, all the movies he decided to play a role... big time, no matter it's a mob story or anything else, except one movie that was seriously enough to be treated as a not bad movie, The Dog(s) of War. |

Because I saw the movie via DVD rental . From my local Blockbuster video rental store. The story I thought is very good. unlike most horror movie's /which I'm a big fan of the genra. This movie has a very good story to it. Eventhough the DVD rental was quite watchable I had a little troube with it skipping and freezing up/but it was still good enough fore me to descover a classic. | This is a movie about the true abduction experience of Whitley Strieber and his family at his upstate New York cabin. This is a really good dramatization of his experiences. Anyone interested in the subject of UFOs should have a copy in his collection. Highly Recommended! |

| OK, I'm prejudiced. My name is Ron Orso, and I played Mike Washington (one of the morgue attendants) and I thought it was a great movie. Based on a real story, and the actors were down to earth people. I played several games of chess w/ Susan St. James before I even knew who she was...(this was before "Kate & Allie.")
Well worth the look. Filmed in the Philippines in 1980 at Clark AB. Most extras were USAF. |

| "The Dream Team" to me is one of those overlooked classics. The plot of this movie is funny from the start. A psychiatist takes 4 mental patients on a trip to New York where he gets attacked and they are left on there own. Micheal Keaton is such a good actor anyway, but the four together play off of each other so well. It is just a great comedy in the old fashioned way.
