VHS : Manions of America
This is the story of Rory O'Manion (Pierce Brosnan) from young adult hood and his fight against the oppressive English in Ireland. From the potato famine and loss of his mother, to his love for the English landlord's daughter Rachel (Kate Mulgrew: of Star Trek Voyager),and subsequent flight to the shores of America. From poor to rich in America, but still longing for the freedom for his beloved Ireland. Also starring Linda Purl (The Exorcist), Nicholas Hammond (Sound of Music, Spiderman), David Soul ... VHS : Appointment With Death
This is not quite as polished as Evil Under the Sun and Death on the Nile, also with Peter Ustinov. It still has the same kind of star power because Lauren Bacall and Piper Laurie are both in this. The story is also still good and I did enjoy it. But I didn't like it as well as the other two I mentioned and I probably won't watch it again.

3.In Cold of the Night starring: Jeff Lester, Adrienne Sachs, Marc Singer, Brian Thompson, Shannon Tweed

VHS : In Cold of the Night
This is one of the better B suspense movies I've seen. Plus I'm a Marc Singer fan, and if you are too, you'll probably like this. Lots of sex, but that's to be expected from a film of this caliber. I don't think it detracts from the movie's suspense. Did I miss something? What role did Tippy Hedren play? I didn't notice her, but then, it's been a while.

4.Fbi Murders starring: David Soul

VHS : Fbi Murders
This film will show you just how susceptible you are at anytime and anyplace to a killers thoughts. Casting David Soul & Michael Gross in the parts of the serial killers could have proved a disaster. Think about it! A gorgeous blonde known for his ethics on "Starsky & Hutch" & Michael Gross who is known for his role in "Family Ties" as an endearing father. In these roles, I think it proved even moreso that you cannot know someone even if you think you do. If perhaps other actors had taken on these characters ... Read More:

The follow up to DIRTY HARRY is also a response to the critics who charged Eastwood and Don Siegel with being fascist. In MAGNUM FORCE the bad guys are a team of rogue cops who dispensing vigilante justice on the criminals of Sodom by the Bay (aka San Francisco). Harry's foil this time is Hal Hoolbrook as Lt Briggs and a team of rookie cops that include David Soul, Tim Matheson, Kip Niven and Robert Urich. John Mitchum (brother of Robert) returns as Frank degeorgio and look for Albert Popwell (the banker robber in DH, "I got's ... Read More:

I remember watching this film when it first came out about 20 years ago. It was a powerful film about a group of people who have never really been honored for the sacrifices they endured for their country. The political agenda driving Hollywood made it into a small film that not many people got a chance to see. It seems like nothing much has changed in 20 years. Why is this film only going to be made available on November 11th? Does it have anything to do with the fact that there is an election going to happen in this country the week ... Read More:

While the movie wasn't nearly as good as the book, it was an excellent teaching tool for my fifth graders. Many are reluctant readers. After reading the book and viewing the movie, the book won hands down. Mission accomplished. Although the movie was somewhat of a disappointment, the service I received was excellent. If I need to purchase movies or materials for my classroom in the future, amazon.com will be one of my first stops.
