| I ordered this product on October 25, 2008. I did not recieve this product until November 22, 2008. I feel the shipping is too much and for the price that I did pay, I feel that my merchandise shouldve arrived sooner. Forget about trying to give gift certificates to anyone for a gift as the shipping and handling is outrageous. Also, when I explained I did not receive my DVD (used), I was asked if I would like another sent out. It shouldve been an automatic response to send another! |

| I remember the first time I saw LA Confidential in the theater. It was at a matinee. Usually, martinee crowds are noisy, but you could hear a pin drop except for two moments in the film when everyone gasped in shock. I have watched it on videotape and DVD, and each time it's like watching it for the first time. It is truly an ensemble piece with not one performance out of place. | Space Jam as a movie has always held a special place in my heart. Being 12 years old as of this review, I have to say this movie has aged really well. Starring a real comic legend in Bill Murray and an acting great, Danny DeVito doing a voice over; this movie was destined to succeed. The real surprise for everyone was the performance of Michael Jordan. | Twenty years past its release date, Tin Men remains a keeper. Danny DeVito may have worn out his exasperated/enraged small man schtick by now, but in 1987 it was still fresh. Like Diner, Tin Men is set in end-of-an-era Baltimore, 1963, and so much that is in it has disappeared or declined. | In general, I like most Danny DeVito films. He is a comic genius, but also manages to slip in some telling social commentary. This film is no exception. It has great one-liners, mixed with enough sound economics that Instructors at the college where I teach have students watch the film in business classes. You will be entertained and even learn something. What more could you ask? |
