| This movie, like many of its characters, was not at all what it appeared to be at first look. The plot was intriguing, and I love Matthew Broderick, so I snapped it up at my local video store. Sadly, my enjoyment was ruined by the forehead-slapping lack of credible action by the characters. I had a few laughs at the antics of performance artist Pastel, played by Jean Tripplehorne, and a few of Broderick's blind dates were amusing to watch, but most of the time I was torn between liking the characters ... | This is a Chevy Chase comedy classic!!! This Jane Doe Edition is a step up above the original DVD release,sadly the extras included don't have any interviews with Chase or Joe Don Baker but it's still a fine DVD release of a 80's comedy classic!!! Even w/it's slight flaws,still recommended!!! A+ |

| I just watched this movie recently for the first time in many years. As you may know, "Baby M" is the story of a suburban home-maker (Mary Beth Whitehead) who decided to be a surrogate mother for an affluent professional couple from Tenafly (Betsy & William Stern.) But after the birth of her daughter (named Sara Whitehead by her mother, Melissa Stern by her biological father, and otherwise known as "Baby M") Mary Beth knew that she could not part with her own flesh and blood.

| Any movie with mutant leaches in it is classic. Why does the gigalo bot need to breath? The girl seems to carry more than two knives, wouldn't that be uncomfortable? Curious, then buy this movie and have a good time laughing your but off! Come on, the villan is named plughead. Classic |

| This is a smart, funny, creative and original film. This is a fresh comedy about 6 young New Yorkers who "live" on the phone. These phone-a-holics fall in love, break up, psychoanalyze each other, give birth and even die without getting off the phone. With an enjoyable score and very well written, this film is fun, marvelous and sophisticated. | It was a good movie. Their are many westerns out there but only few that deserve to be viewed again and this movie is one that deserves to be viewed again. young guns 1 and wyat erp were also great movies. it's worth buying. |
